Farrah: This picture was clearly drawn by an adult! CHEATING! Nice representation of sterile technique though, except for the LACK OF EYE PROTECTION. Shit in the eyes is a very likely complication of said "miracle of birth." Mariam: Your cynicism about this tile is so ugly and disheartening. This kid could be the next Michelangelo for all you know. However, I'm not sure what is going on with these proportions - the torso of this butch-looking lady is way too short to give birth to anything remotely human. The "miracle of Rosemary's baby" perhaps?

The miracle of birth clearly involves and extreme case of jaundice.
Can neonatal jaundice set in that fast??? Someone tell me!
Also, I think the green dude in this is delivering the baby, not giving birth. That said, the kid looks huge by comparison, regardless of the adult's identity.

The adult looks like someone who is a part of the communist machine, and is pleased to have brought a new comrade into the world. I think the artist is making a comment about the selfishness of reproducing, really all parents bring children into the world for their reasons rather than to add tot he world. Also OB people don't wear green scrubs.
