Hospital on a Hill

There are many reasons that I think a hospital on a hill is a bad idea. Here are my top 5:
1) Sick people don't have the strength to climb hills
2) Parking
3) Ambulances are not the best vehicles to speed up winding steep roads
4) Earthquakes + Gravity
5) When the fog settles around the hill, and a patient unfortunately has end-stage disease, they may look out their window and have a terrible existential moment. Am I already in Heaven? Is Hell this hospital room where I have to see the same residents everyday, much like Sartre's play No Exit? No joke, the following is a picture from the hospital on a hill.

Dude that photo's awesome. I finihsed Harry Potter 7 not long ago, really enjoyed all of them, especially the last few and book 7 itself was probs my favourite.

Is that picture stolen from Google search? Bec. otherwise - WOW, that looks like something out of a disney cartoon movie.

It was stolen from a google search, and I was going to credit the flickr person who took it, but I lost the link. The hospital is totally bizarre. Because it's on such a steep hill, you can exit to the outdoors on the 1st floor in 1 building, the 8th floor in the next building, and the 10th floor in the next building.

Harry Potter 7 was fantastic. I want to read it again when I have time.

I want to go to there.

Also, I don't know what to read anymore now that I've got to the end of Harry. I would read them again in the future, but what do I do now?! :(

I have no time to read for fun, though I've started life with jeeves.

I need to re-read HP 7. I was not down with it the first time I read it, but that was the day after it came out and I read it in about 2 minutes (speedy excitement reading). A lot of people seem to be reading it and really enjoying it lately though.

Reading suggestions: NOT Twilight. How about hitting up a classic you always hoped to read but never got to? I'm on Catch-22 and man, it is messing with my head.

I'd quite like to re-read it even though I spent a few days on it. I can't do speed reading :(

I interrupted 1000 splendid suns to start the HP series so i may just go back to that now. For some reason I really want to read Invisible Cities as well.

It's funny that you said not Twilight cos I did actually consider it for a moment after HP. I don't know much (anything) about it but I think I'll take your advice and leave it well alone.

It's not a hospital on a hill, it's a treehouse for adults. What, no picture of the longest pedestrian skybridge in North America?

And yes, we love it here.
